Korea has a high share of manufacturing and a structure centered on carbon-intensive industries, so applying global standards as-is would deal a heavy shock to industry. It therefore refers to a policy-implementation session in which government ministries, local governments, and public institutions take the lead in presenting a Korea-specific carbon-neutrality pathway and establishing institutional support and an administrative foundation.

With mandatory carbon-emissions measurement and stronger ESG regulations, carbon reduction has become a matter of survival for companies. In response, it presents practical means of implementation (How-to) — carbon-free/renewable energy technologies, digital carbon accounting (SaaS), supply-chain carbon-footprint management, energy-efficiency processes, and climate-finance investment.
